Registration Information

To attend one of our free workshops please register in advance. The registration link is with our training calendar.

When you register you will receive a confirmation within 24-48 hours if you are successfully enrolled. If you register more than a week days prior to the workshop, you will receive a reminder e-mail.

We reserve the right to ask for an EKU ID card.

Eligibility

All of our workshops are geared toward EKU students but anyone in the EKU community, including alumni, may attend. Spouses and family members are also eligible to attend. However, our first seats go to current EKU students.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your registration please let us know as soon as possible. If we need to cancel your workshop we will let you know ASAP.

Inclement Weather: ResNet adheres to EKU's inclement weather decisions. If on a 2 hour delay our workshops are held as scheduled and not delayed. If EKU is closed our workshop will be cancelled.

Individuals with 2 no shows in one semester must wait until the next semester to register for a workshop.

We have a basic skills assessment checklist you can use to define your training needs here.

Pre-requisites

Some of our workshops have prerequesites. Without the prerequesite course or equivilent experience you may not be able to understand the material and keep up with the instructors presentation. This prior knowledge is your responsibility so be prepared.

Custom Workshops/Training

ResNet can offer any of the workshops in our regular catalog to:

  • Groups: If six or more people in your class, residence hall, organization have similar training needs, you can schedule a group class [Request Form]
  • Individuals: We offer free one-on-one tutorial sessions in our labs. These are by schedule only and must be from our regular catalog [Request Form]
Workshop FAQ
  • What are these workshops? These are hands-on workshops developed by ResNet and sponsored by ResNet and ITDS.
  • I can't attend during the time a workshop is offered. What else can I do? Set up an appointment for a one-on-one tutorial session or find a group of six ore more people who are interested in the same class.
  • Why do this? Why attend? They help build basic skills you'll need in the future. They help build up your resume. You can learn something new. Increase your future job prospects. Have fun!
