Technical Positions-Fall 2009-Spring 2010
- Computer Support Analyst-Level I OPEN This position is the first-line support for residential students at EKU. You'll work closely responding to problems at ResNet, in our labs and computer clusters. It is necessary that the person in this position have good public relations skills; good customer service abilities; good computer skills; and can type at least 25 w.p.m.
- Technical Writer OPEN Provide assistance in producing communication materials including handouts, documents, brochures, booklets, posters, news releases, web content, and other promotional material in paper and electronic formats. Strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator required.
- Publications Designer OPEN Will work with Marketing Coordinator and Technical Writer to deliver the ResNet brand to the campus. Strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator required.
- Technical Trainer CLOSED Process and deliver technical content online via tutorials and in-person in workshops. Strong presentation skills are a must.
- Programmer OPEN Strong programming skills in PHP required. Solid understanding of relational databases and design and use of MySQL. Strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript also required. Knowledge of Flash preferred.
