Wireless in the Residence Hall The wireless network in the residence halls is intended as a convenience network, not a replacement for our wired Ethernet in your room. If you are handling academic work on the network, it is highly recommended that you use the wired network.
Scareware Beware of these common scareware programs (fake security software) we see on student computers in our office: AV Soft, Security Tool, Antivirus 2009 & 2010, Green AV.
SmartComputing. This website covers EKU's IT security information providing education and guidance related to EKU's information technology environment.
Downloading Illegally. Read our new filesharing FAQ to find out more about the legality of file sharing on campus so you don't get in trouble! A must read for users of torrent programs, LimeWire, etc.
Update Symantec. If you need to update Symantec manually, go to this website and download the Definition File to your desktop and run the program.
